Description
Byron Pitts, a graduate of Ohio Wesleyan University, is an Emmy Award-winning journalist and chief national correspondent for the CBS Evening News and a "60 Minutes" contributor. At the age of 12, he was diagnosed as "functionally illiterate" and struggled with stuttering until he was 20. His new book, "Step Out on Nothing," chronicles his challenging path to overcome illiteracy and embark on a career as a national news correspondent.
