J. Randall Hicks, the marketing and promotions coordinator of the Ohio Union at Ohio State University, helped lead a team of 7 students compete in the international 48 Hour Film Project. The team, which also included OSU students Brittany Belland and Abby Ellender, had 48 hours to write, shoot, edit and score a short film. This year's challenge required teams to implement the following:

A character named Sam or Sara Carpenter who acted as a Ticket Seller;

a cell phone as a prop;

and the following line of dialogue: "All you need is one of these."
