The comedy bug bit the members of Last Call Cleveland while they were students at Kent State University, where they produced a late-night cable TV show that aired, for a time, in Cleveland. These days, the group performs live and has become known for taking good-hearted pokes at their hometown, as well as themselves. The Cleveland Jazz Orchestra Quartet is a small part of a large ensemble that's been generating quite the buzz lately - much of the excitement surrounding the band has come from its music director, trumpeter Sean Jones, who took over the post in 2009.
