Title Sponsor JP Morgan Chase and The Columbus Metropolitan Club in cooperation with Leadership Columbus are launching an exciting new series of forums focusing on the many aspects of the nebulous concept of "leadership."
On June 14, the first leader featured in this exciting series will be Jerry Jurgensen, CEO of Nationwide, one of the largest diversified insurance and financial services companies in the world. He was elected to this position in 2000. With an emphasis on financial discipline and an improved corporate culture, Jurgensen led Nationwide to high levels of performance. During his tenure, Nationwide's net income has increased from $138 million in 2001 to more than $1 billion in 2004 and 2005.
Spotlighting Columbus' corporate, civic and political leaders, the Chase Excellence in Leadership forums will explore each person's passions, frustrations, hopes and vision for our community. In true CMC fashion, forum audiences will continue the conversation with their questions.
Over the twelve-forum, three-year series, well-known local personality and former television anchor Gail Hogan will conduct an informal interview with each leader on stage at the CMC luncheon forums.
