Kyle Katz, Buggyworks; John Rosenberger, Capitol South; Larry Ruben, Plaza Properties
Moderated by: Paul Bonneville, Columbus RetroMetro.com

Mayor Coleman's goal of 10,000 new downtown living units in 10 years has spurred the largest concentration of residential building projects and new downtown residents in nearly a century. Each new project has a significant impact on the city and is part of a growing network off new businesses, new entertainment, new spaces and revived landscapes in the core city. Urban Columbus is being reborn and rediscovered.

The annual Columbus Landmarks Foundation City Hop has grown over 7 years, drawing thousands of people curious about living in a vibrant city environ and equally curious about those who are making that decision. The popularity of this event, set this year for June 16-17, emphasizes the burgeoning interest in metropolitan areas across the country and certainly in Columbus.

In his role as leader of the Capitol South CURC, John Rosenberger, has played a pivotal role in guiding this renaissance. His overview of the redevelopment will dovetail into specific experiences of downtown developers Kyle Katz and Larry Ruben. Paul Bonneville, the enthusiastic newcomer with his "retrometro" website that touts all things urban, is the ideal moderator.
