Gary Hemminger is the executive vice president - Downstream of Marathon Oil Corporation and serves as a member of Marathon's Executive Committee. He joined the Company in 1975 and was appointed to his current position in July 2005. In addition to his role Mr. Memminger is president of Marathon Petroleum Company LLC (MPC), (formerly Marathon Ashland Petroleum LLC (MAP)), a wholly owned subsidiary of Marathon. He assumed responsibility as president of Business Development for MAP upon its formation in January 1998.

This segment highlights the future plans of Marathon's efforts to adapt to changing energy needs.
