As Columbus' immigrant population grows, the challenge and the need for successfully integrating our new neighbors grow, too. This forum features members and partners of the Capacity Building Initiative, a unique funding collaborative for immigrant and refugee organizations. The discussion investigates what needs to happen next to fully integrate new immigrants into the Columbus community.

Immigrants and refugees are a rich resource for the community, bringing talent, initiative, diversity and creativity. CBI works with immigrant- and refugee-founded organizations throughout central Ohio to assure that the immigrant population will be able to successfully benefit from and contribute to the social and economic fabric of the greater Columbus community.

Through CBI, these many organizations founded by immigrants and refugees can learn valuable skills to help fill educational and cultural gaps that will help acclimate their constituents to their new home community.
