Wouldn't it be fun to get Wayne Lawson, Sam Gresham and Bill Habig on the same stage to talk about their 30 year careers in Columbus?

Our CMC Program Committee thought so!

February 22 at CMC, The Dispatch's Alan Miller ventures into the minds of three of Columbus' favorite personalities and most revered leaders! They'll share defining moments, funny moments, sad moments and moments they'll never forget.

Executive Director of the Ohio Arts Council since 1978, Wayne Lawson has been the beloved driving force behind one of the most successful and respected state arts agencies in the country. As he retires March 1, he leaves a legacy of stimulating the arts climate in Ohio that gives artists, arts administrators and the public access to the Ohio Arts Council.

Recently joining Common Cause Ohio, Sam Gresham spent the pervious 20 years as the Executive Director of the Columbus Urban League. Well known as a professional and experienced non-profit administrator, organizer, public speaker and fund raiser, Gresham has provided untold leadership to the Columbus community.

Bill Habig has served Mid-Ohio Regional Planning Commission (MORPC) for 38 years, 34 years as Executive Director. In this position, he has played a key role in most of central Ohio's significant developments including organizing the seven-county regional growth strategy. A familiar face at any local or regional planning conversation, Habig retires the end of February.

Join the conversation with three of Columbus favorite wise men.
