Columbus on the Record - Opposition to SB 5

This week Columbus on the Record panelists discuss the latest polling numbers that show the majority of Ohioans don't like Senate Bill 5, the bill that limits collective bargaining. 54% say that SB 5 should be repealed.

Peter A. Brown, assistant director of the Quinnipiac University Polling Institute, said: "Although it is a long way until November when opponents of SB 5 hope to ask voters to overturn it, at this point there is strong support for repealing Governor's John Kasich's signature plan. Not only does he need to rebuild his image, but the governor will need to move a lot of voters over the next six months if he wants his plan to survive."

Also this week: Charter schools face more criticism; Lawmakers push for more election reform; the Ohio Constitution may need a makeover; and the casinos and Governor John Kasich continue their stalemate.
