Deadline Now - 5-27-2016 - Economic and Social Consequences of the Great Recession

The Great Recession that began in 2008 has officially been over for some time but its effects have lingered. Many thousands of adults who lost high-paying jobs in Ohio and Michigan are either still unemployed or working for far less than they once did - and the long-term economic and social consequences are still being calculated. But what can we do about this? How have the effects of the changing economy impacted the region and this nation - and are our leaders doing what they should be?
