Avian Flu is all over the news. Countries across the world are preparing for the worst, but what is the United States doing to prepare and prevent? And, maybe more importantly, what is Northwest Ohio doing to protect the residents in our area?

Join host Marlene Harris-Taylor and guests when they discuss these questions and more, on The Journal, airing Thursday, November 17 at 9 p.m.

Joining us in studio will be three guests that bring a wealth of information to the table: Mary Dennis, Coordinator of Community Health Surveillance with the Wood County Health Department will be in studio, as well as Dr. Wilford Ellis, Lima Memorial Hospital, and Kathy Silvestri, Northwest Ohio Regional Hospital Disaster Preparedness Coordinator.
