Anyone, anywhere, any race and any gender can go through depression. Upwards of 19 million Americans suffer from depression, yet 4 out of 5 patients can alleviate some symptoms with proper treatment.

Host Dr. Barbara Kopp Miller and guests Dr. Catherine Kocarek, Associate Director/Clinical Director at Bowling Green State University's Counseling Center; Connie Eppstein, a social worker at the Geriatric Center at the University of Toledo Medical Center; and Barry Jennings, a clinical social worker in Lima talk about the causes and symptoms of depression. It's estimated four out of five patients can improve with proper treatment.
