A story of the restoration of Ohio's Statehouse.

The Ohio Statehouse is one of the finest examples of Greek Revival architecture in the country. Originally constructed during a 22-year period (1839-1861), the building today is one of the oldest functioning state capitols in the country. This beautiful piece of architecture stands as a symbol of the democratic experiences of all the people in the state of Ohio.

The State's House documents the history and restoration of this important building. The massive restoration process was documented during a five-year period in the 1990s and is told through rare historical photographs as well as interviews with the architect, historians, and craftsmen.
