Hunting the Harvest

For many Ohioans, hunting is a time-honored tradition. And through groups like Farmers and Hunters Feeding the Hungry, it's a way to provide food for hungry families.

The Melting Pot: Cincinnati Chili

It was developed by immigrants, but Cincinnati Chili is not an ethnic food.  A uniquely American cuisine, chili is the food of assimilation¿and a Cincinnati tradition.  In the city, there are over 300 chili parlors.

Cooking with Wine

Cooking teacher and food author Marilou Suszko shows how to use wine as a flavoring agent in food. She'll even be using mostly Ohio vintages.

Doc Sanders: Cow Power

Methane digesters are being installed on several Ohio farms to address environmental and energy issues. Our Ohio visits a western Ohio farmer who's converting his manure into electricity to be sold to a nearby power company.
