Our Ohio - 2-10-2017 - Virtual Pasture, Art Inspired by the Farm, Medina Ice Festival
Artist and Ohio State faculty member Michael Mercil created The Virtual Pasture. This outdoor installation was one of Mercil's ongoing "agri/cultural" investigations as part of the Living Culture Initiative in the Department of Art, in partnership with the Wexner Center.

Medina Ice Festival
Most folks throughout Ohio wouldn't find ice worth celebrating, but the small town of Medina has found a way to make the best of even a cold northeastern Ohio winter. Its annual ice festival features winter at its best, complete with ice sculpting contests.
