Senate Democratic Whip Kent Smith (D-Euclid), and Senator Paula Hicks-Hudson (D-Toledo) announce the reintroduction of a pay equity hotline and "Fair Paycheck Workplace" designation.
This is a reintroduction of House Bill 138 of the 132nd General Assembly, which would create a system for individuals to report wage discrimination anonymously and House Bill 396 of the 134th General Assembly, which would create a certificate to certify that an employer compensated its female employees within 5% of the compensation paid to male employees.
