Supreme Court of Ohio Admission to the Bar - November 5, 2012 - 10:30 A.M. Ceremony
Two Bar Admissions Ceremonies were held at the Ohio Theatre on Monday, November 5th at 10:30 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. for applicants who passed the July 2012 bar exam and satisfied all of the Supreme Court's other requirements for admission.
At 10:30, the oath of office was administered to successful applicants from The Ohio State University, Capital University, University of Dayton, University of Cincinnati, and Northern Kentucky University. At 2:00, the oath of office was administered to successful applicants from Cleveland State University, Case Western Reserve University, University of Toledo, Ohio Northern University, University of Akron, and out-of-state law schools.
The Court invited the new lawyers and their guests to visit the Ohio Judicial Center immediately following each ceremony. The Ohio State Bar Association hosted a reception for the new admittees at the North end of the Grand Concourse. The Office of Attorney Services was in conference room 101 so that the new lawyers were able to complete the attorney registration process.
