After the latest version of the Republican healthcare plan failed to gain support, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell announced his plan to vote to repeal the Affordable Care Act without passing an alternative plan to replace it. The "repeal only" vote lost Republican support when four senators, one of which was Ohio's Senator Rob Portman, opposed the vote.
