Chairman of the House Prescription Drug Addiction and Healthcare Reform Study Committee Robert Sprague (R-Findlay) held a press conference to discuss the study committee's findings and their recommendations to the Legislature. Other speakers include Rep. Ryan Smith, Rep. Nan Baker, and Rep. Nickie Antonio.

The committee was initiated by Speaker William G. Batchelder (R-Medina) in an effort to address drug abuse and addiction. The committee members held four regional hearings throughout Ohio to bring the conversation to different communities that have been affected by drug addiction. The chairman's report of findings offers suggestions-based on input from Ohioans-about how to more effectively address this issue.
