Artzine - Gerard Charles and Steven Anderson

In February of 2006, Gerard Charles, artistic director of BalletMet, and Steven Anderson, Phoenix Theatre Circle artistic director, collaborated to create a world premier ballet based on Lewis Carroll's books Alice's Adventures in Wonderland and Through The Looking Glass and What Alice Found There.

ArtZine cameras followed the making of this unique theatrical creation from the first days of collaboration through rehearsals to the grand sell-out performances where actors learned to dance and dancers learned to act.

In addition to the original choreography by Gerard Charles, sectional choreography was created by BalletMet company dancers Justin Gibbs, Jimmy Orante, and Adam Hundt.
