NW Ohio Journal - Cyber Bullying

While bullying has always been a problem in schools, the rise of social networking sites such as MySpace and Facebook have enabled children to take their bullying behaviors online in the form of threatening and insulting emails, instant messages and discussion board postings.

This cyber bullying trend affects thousands of school children and teenagers all over the country, with more than half of children between 6 and 17 reporting to be cyber bullying victims.

Host Patrick Pauken, J.D., Ph.D, leads the discussion with guests Luci Gernot, Wood County Educational Resource Center superintendent, and Nick Neiderhouse, Anthony Wayne middle school teacher.
