All Sides with Ann Fisher

Description
Instagram announced last week that it would pause development of an app intended for children after internal company documents showed the popular social media platform is harmful to teens' well-being.

The revelations, leaked by a former company employee, come on the heels of ongoing congressional scrutiny of Facebook and pushback from parents worried about Instagram use by younger children.

Today on Wellness Wednesday on "All Sides with Ann Fisher," a look at the connection between social media use and adolescent mental health. We'll also discuss the future or telemedicine and how a little bit of movement can make a difference in your weight.

Guests:

Tara Sklar, professor of health law at University of Arizona
Dr. Christia Spears Brown, developmental psychologist and professor at the University of Kentucky
Gretchen Reynolds, columnist for The New York Times Well Blog
