The Columbus Museum of Art's current exhibit, Mark Rothko: The Decisive Decade 1940-1950, celebrates one of the most influential artists of the 20th century. And Columbus theater company CATCO is presenting Red, a Tony Award-winning play about Rothko's controversial work on the murals at New York's Four Seasons restaurant. In this hour, we'll talk to local Rothko-philes about these two events, and about the artist's tumultuous life.
Guests:
Steven Anderson, Producing Director, CATCO
Tory Matsos, Dramaturg for CATCO's Red
Dominique H. Vasseur, Director of Curatorial Administration and Curator of European Art Columbus Museum of Art
