President Kevin Boys of Southern State Community College hosted the jobs creation announcement in Wilmington Ohio. Six companies have committed to build or expand their resources to create new jobs and retain current employment. Gov. John Kasich was joined by the representatives from the companies including Dennis Manibusan President of Air Transport International, Inc., Bennett Morgan COO of Polaris Industries Inc., Gregory Sweeney Director, Economic Development of Praxair Distribution Inc., and Stu Kemper CEO of Timbertech Limited. John Minor, President and CIO of JobsOhio, commented on the economic impact that the new influx of jobs will have in Wilmington while diversifying the business community. The representatives from the companies expressed their objectives and geographical benefits of the location.

Also in attendance for the event were Sen. Bob Peterson, Rep. Cliff Rosenberger and Wilmington Mayor Randy Riley.
