The State Committee on Computer Science was established by HB 110, the most recent state operating budget, and convened on November 17, 2021, to begin the work of developing a state plan for computer science education for the purposes of primary and secondary education.

The committee is charged with making recommendations that, if implemented, would help make Ohio a national leader in computer science education.
