This week marked the end of the semester at Ohio's largest online charter school, and apparently the end of the line for the Electronic Classroom of Tomorrow. Statehouse correspondent Andy Chow reports.

The Democratic field of candidates for governor seems set at five headed toward the May primary. Former Congressman and Cleveland mayor Dennis Kucinich made his formal announcement that he's running with appearances in the Cleveland area and at the Statehouse this week. And former Cincinnati state Rep. Connie Pillich announced this week she's selected as her potential lieutenant governor Marion mayor Scott Schertzer. And the Republican-dominated Senate took the first step this week to remove the only Democrat on the Ohio Supreme Court - gubernatorial candidate Bill O'Neill.

Time is growing short for state lawmakers who want to put a congressional redistricting reform plan before voters in the May primary. And it could affect the plan that citizens' groups have been working to take to the ballot for more than a year. Statehouse correspondent Jo Ingles reports.

The Trump White House has signaled to states that want to put work requirements on Medicaid recipients that it'll support that, which is a departure from the Obama administration. The state budget that passed last year included provisions requiring Ohio to apply for waivers for some Medicaid recipients to be subject to work requirements and to potentially be charged small monthly premiums. The idea is controversial - as evident in a conversation with Wendy Patton of Policy Matters Ohio and Rea Hederman with the Buckeye Institute.
