Description
Schools continue to suffer budget woes, forcing cuts educators would rather not make. Often, programs like art and music education are the first to go. A recent three year study from the University of Chicago indicates arts education isn't a frill. It's essential, and its impact on low income children is particularly significant. Nick Rabkin, Research Affiliate, NORC, University of Chicago

Pamela DiPasquale, Director of Education, Cleveland PlayHouse

Kristen Cliffel, Sculptor and Teaching Artist for Ohio Arts Council, Young Audiences of Northeast Ohio, and Art House's Urban Bright Program

Richard Goodright, Superintendent, Massillon City Schools
