Description
Politicians in Washington brought the debt ceiling debate to the edge of the cliff before Republican and Democratic leaders this weekend finally made a deal. The country can borrow more money to pay its bills. And Congress will promise to spend less of it in the future. On this episode of The Sound of Ideas, we'll talk about the economic and political impact of the debt ceiling deal.

Stephen Koff, Washington Bureau chief, The Plain Dealer

Kevin Jacques, Associate Professor of Finance, Baldwin Wallace College

Rep. Steven LaTourette, R-Ohio
