A new study says a dangerous lack of roadway laws in Ohio is costing the state lives and millions of dollars in lost productivity, medical and unemployment expenses. But driving in Ohio has never been safer. Slightly more than a thousand people died in traffic accidents in 2011 -- the lowest number on record. Given that, do we really need tougher traffic laws?
