Description
The University of Akron is going to a four-day academic week, leaving what it calls "Five-Star Fridays" open for students to pursue career development opportunities or, if you went to college you know what I'm saying here... sleep. Akron's president, Matt Wilson, joins us on The Sound of Ideas to discuss the new schedule, which starts in the fall. Later, two new reports examining manufacturing in Northeast Ohio show good reason for optimism.

Guests:
-Matthew Wilson, President, University of Akron
-Ethan Karp, President and CEO, Manufacturing Advocacy and Growth Network (Magnet)
-Bill Koehler, Chief Executive Office, Team Northeast Ohio
-Bill Livingston, Sports Columnist, The Plain Dealer
